About: The Blank Pages is currently on loan to The Warehouse in Dallas (US) and on display in the exhibition For What It’s Worth: Value Systems in Art since 1960 until June 29, Ditte Ejlerskov and I are thankful for the support of Malmö Art Museum that have sent their edition on loan.
The Warehouse writes about the exhibition:
Grounded in global, conceptual art tendencies of the 1960/70s, For What It’s Worth looks at artists who generate, question, and infect value systems through their work. These systems might address values connected to exchange, to social structures, or to philosophical intangibles, and all the stops in between. Many of the selected works share an exploration of the codification of values through language and patterns of behavior. Central to the exhibition will be works from The Rachofsky Collection by Judy Chicago, Felix Gonzalez-Torres, John Latham, Annette Lawrence, Seung-taek Lee, Sherrie Levine, Piero Manzoni, Bruce Nauman, Giulio Paolini, Sherrill Roland, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Fred Wilson, and Yukinori Yanagi. A catalogue published jointly by The Warehouse and Monacelli Press will accompany the exhibition.
